Duck, Duck, Goose

Yep. We went back to the lake Monday. The Prince Consort was armed with the magic fishing poles (There are now four.) that fend off fish so none get stuck on the pointy hook laden lures. And I had a bag of stale bread that turned out to be too small.
The duck family that early this summer did not get the concept of panhandling for bread, have caught on! They swam straight to the boat for a hand out.

We made it out of the marina with some of the bread. And of course we found where the Canada Geese were sun bathing on a rocky beach. Or rather they spotted us and the bread bag.
When you run out of bread, and the goose is still drooling, try not to make eye contact. And gun the boat’s motor!
