We had a big snowstorm. BIG! Lots of snow to run and play in. This time I played as hard as Hank. We are Snow Dogs.
The snow was beautiful.
And then it was work. The snow was too heavy for many of our pines. Mom and DadPersons started gathering up the broken limbs.
I checked this pile out because I saw a lot of the little little birds fly to it. I think they like hiding in with the pine cones and stuff. Maybe it’s warm in there.
Hank was too busy to supervise. Here he is: not good at concentrating on work.
So I took over keeping an eye on Mom and DadPersons when they saw-up and move the big branches.
So far they filled up the ‘Side by Side’ vehicle about six times.
They liked my idea about more hidey-places for the little birds. So they placed the broken branches under the big firs and spruces in the west woods. DadPerson says after a while the piles will turn brown, and we will have pine cones for our fireplace and pine needles for pine straw. He’s always talking about pine straw for the garden.
My good idea is what is now famously known as
A Win Win.
