I don’t really need help sleeping, but sometimes MomPerson reads stories to Hank and me before our naps. When it’s close to Christmas, she brings some really good books.
Hank likes the Littlest Angel by Charles Tazewell. It’s about a gift for the baby Jesus. This was MomPerson’s favorite when she was little. Another from MomPerson’s way back childhood is The Littlest Stork, also by Charles Tazewell.
The cats like With Love, at Christmas by Mem Fox. This one was ProfessorDaughterPerson’s when she was young. MomPerson actually met Mem Fox!
We all like Clement C. Moore’s A Visit from St. Nicholas. That one is very famous. It starts with—’T’was the Night Before Christmas.’ MomPerson saves that one for Christmas Eve.
This year Mom read us a new story- Dragon Rescue from the Bubbles and Smush book of short stories she published this fall- The MISadventures of Bubbles and Smush. https://amzn.to/3ZbKwMK
Dragon Rescue originally had a pretty blue cover with a white-lighted Christmas tree. Hank loves the dragon in the story. I love the tree and the magic story about it! We both are big fans of goofy Bubbles and Smush, because MomPerson says we’re ‘Goofy’ when she gives us each a Dawg Cookie DadPerson baked for us.
I hope you have a favorite story for Christmas.
Rufus and Hank
