Very excited! Momperson is about to publish her first new book since… last year. And this one has a bunch of Bubbles and Smush short stories. They’re our favorites, but don’t tell the dragons. Best of all, this book has a Bubbles and Smush PIRATE story!! Momperson’s going to release The MISadventures of Bubbles and Smush on September 19. You know what day that is, right? YES! It’s talk like a pirate day.
We need to dress up for the big day. I’m going to borrow Ratchett-cat’s stuffed toy parrot.
Somehow we’ll tie it on to Hank’s shoulder. Not that he knows I’m planning on that yet. He’s all about wearing a pirate hat. But I checked Momperson’s hat collection. She has her trusty woven sun hat, that’s sort of like the ones Smush weaves in the stories. There are a couple of scarves we could each tie over one eye. But no tri-cornered pirate hat.
Doesn’t matter. We are going to look so good!
We have to go practice our “Ahoy Matey, Raise the Jib, Walk the Plank,” and a lot of other Pirate talk.
Oh, yeah! September 19 is going to be good. Won’t Momperson and Dadperson be surprised when Hank and I talk Pirate!
