Halloween is over, and I’m not scared of anything. Except maybe a few things—some trees. Which is kind of weird because, in general, I love trees. I mark them to show them how much.
But around here there are scary trees that Hank and I have to keep a careful eye on.
We’re watching the pear tree in back with the bird feeders. What if the bear comes back?
In the winter some of the trees look very spooky, like they’re hiding something in the fog.
Hank and I didn’t know about this tree. I vote it the scariest. MomPerson loves walking through all the evergreens. But yesterday I found this photo of one of her walks. She took it of her shadow on the tree. BUT Hank and I spotted the creepy character coming at her from the right! It might live in the tree!!
