Scariest Clay

After the night time Ghost Walk, We went back to the Cassius Clay mansion to tour the house in the daylight. There are plenty of myths about Cassius Clay, including that he was involved in 200 duels because an impressive number of people wanted him dead.
Cassius, the Lion of White Hall, was an unflinching Emancipationist who feared no one. His daughters may not have dueled, but they were already fighting for Women’s Rights in the 1800’s.
Laura Clay may have been the scariest Clay of all. The historical society sign at the gates to White Hall says it all.
It seems Laura Clay buried Lexington!
